How it works

Three steps to more space

  1. Scan

Pick a folder or drive – 1 million files in about 7 seconds.

  2. Understand

Click through the ring, one level at a time.

  3. Clean up

Every file gets a safety level. Moved to the Trash by default.

Color language

Every area has its color.

The largest area is blue, the second yellow, then pink, green … Subfolders keep their color – in lighter shades.

  • Caution

Apps & Library. With a hint.

  • User files

  • Cleanup candidate

Old installers & co. Usually safe to go.

  • A reason for every file
  • Re-checked right before removal
  • Trash by default
  • Never automatic – you decide
  • Just drag onto the Trash
“Move to Trash?” dialog with two installers as cleanup candidates and Xcode.app, which is excluded automatically with a “Caution” note
